We would like to thank each and every one of you who came out to audition for the cast of Frozen Jr. We know how difficult it is to stand up, perform in front of others, and be judged, but you all did extremely well. There was a very large turnout for a limited number of roles, and the amazing level of talent we saw made this an extremely difficult decision for the creative team. If we did not cast you this time, please don’t be discouraged. We were looking for very specific things in these auditions. We encourage you to keep learning, practicing, and performing whenever and wherever possible. And we hope we’ll see you at another audition in the future. Thank you again for auditioning with us. If you were cast, we look forward to working with you. Please take note that you may appear on the cast list more than once, as many named characters also appear in the ensembles. There is a mandatory parent/cast meeting and script read-through on Monday, August 21st at 6 PM at the City of Greer Center for the Arts (804 Trade St.). Congratulations on being cast in this year's production! I am so excited to see what you all create together. I know that you have all worked hard, and I am confident that you will put on a show that everyone will enjoy. Click here to sign up for an audition slot!  Tunes in the Park is a free outdoor concert series held every summer in the amphitheater in Greer City Park. Admission is free, but you'll want to bring your own camping chairs or a picnic blanket. A few fantastic food, beverage, and dessert vendors will be on site, so come hungry and enjoy some great live music. Outside food/beverages are prohibited.  2023 TUNES IN THE PARK LINEUP
The Mighty Kicks - Saturday May 20, 6-9 PM Food Vendors: Rolitos Tacos & More, The Noodle Lady, & Abbott's Frozen Custard The Jamie Wright Band - Saturday June 10, 7-10 PM Food Vendors: TBA, & Abbott's Frozen Custard Mac Arnold & Plate Full O' Blues - Saturday July 22, 7-10 PM Food Vendors: Nard's Backyard BBQ & Abbott's Frozen Custard The Carolina Coast Band - Saturday August 19, 6-9 PM Food Vendors: Mexibilly BBQ & Abbott's Frozen Custard The Rhythm City Band - Saturday September 16, 6-9 PM Food Vendors: The Snickering Coyote BBQ & Abbott's Frozen Custard  Greer Idol, established in 2007, is a singing competition open to vocalists in Upstate South Carolina. Contestants perform throughout the summer during Tunes in the Park in Greer City Park and judges score them on Vocal Skills, Audience Appeal, and Stage Presence. Audience members can cast votes for their favorite performers, and votes are combined with the judges scores to declare an overall winner at the end of the competition. Cash prizes are awarded to 1st Place and Runner Up.
