Completed applications can be emailed to artscouncil@cityofgreer.org or returned via mail to the Center for the Arts (804 Trade Street, Greer, SC, 29651). Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, activity or public meeting of the City of Greer should contact Ruthie Helms, ADA Coordinator at (864) 848-5397 as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. About the Exhibition Submissions should fit the theme of the exhibition: GREER: History, Industry & Scenery. The Greater Greer area is filled with rich history, booming industry, and gorgeous scenery; The artwork should reflect at least one of these facets of the community. The exhibition will be on display through April and May in the Wall Gallery on the second floor of Greer City Hall, located at 301 E Poinsett Street, Greer, SC, 29651. Drop-Off & Registration for Entries The Edward R. Driggers City of Greer Center for the Arts 804 Trade Street • Greer, SC • 29651 (Office Entrance) Saturday, March 20 • 11am-4pm Tuesday, March 23 • 6-8pm (Please note: No late entries will be accepted. Masks are required to enter the facility.) Awards Ceremony and Reception The winning pieces will be announced via livestream on the City of Greer, SC Facebook page on Friday, April 2 at 4pm. Artists will be recognized by the Mayor at the following Greer City Council Meeting on Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30pm. Unless otherwise notified, all entries will hang at Greer City Hall through the end of May. At the conclusion of the exhibition, entries can be picked up from the Center for the Arts on Tuesday, June 1 from 6pm-8pm or Saturday, June 5 from 11am-4pm. To make other arrangements for pickup, please contact artscouncil@cityofgreer.org. About the Jurors The Jury Committee consists of Greer Business Leaders and Artists. The panel will vote individually and the winner will be chosen based on combined scores.
