A LETTER FROM THE CREATIVE TEAM

We would like to thank each and every one of you who came out to audition for the cast of The Lion King Jr. We know that it can be very difficult to step onstage, perform, and be judged, but you all did very well. The remarkable amount of talent we saw made this a very difficult decision for the creative team.

Unfortunately, we had a very large turnout for a limited number of roles. If you were not cast in this production, please don’t be discouraged. We were looking for specific things in these auditions. We encourage you to keep learning, practicing, and performing whenever and wherever possible, and we hope to see you at a future audition with us. Thank you again for coming out to audition.

If you were cast in this production, we look forward to working with you. Whether you were selected to be a named role or a member of an ensemble, every cast member is vital to putting on an excellent production - particularly in The Lion King Jr. We can't wait to get started!

There is a mandatory parent/cast meeting on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 6 PM at the City of Greer Center for the Arts (804 Trade Street) followed by a cast read through.
Production manager Teresa Poinsette will be emailing you forms for the meeting.
