Greer Idol & Greer Idol Jr Auditions

Auditions will be held at the Edward R. Driggers City of Greer Center for the Arts. The address is 804 Trade St. Greer.

Please prepare 2 songs to be performed acapella, 30 seconds each.
Pick 2 different genres of music.

This is a contest and and contestants are eliminated at each event. Be prepared to fill out paperwork when you arrive. All contestants must show proof age with a driver's license or a birth certificate in order to audition. 

The age restrictions have changed for the 2026 competition. Greer Idol contestants must be 18+ by 1/1/26 and Greer Idol Jr. contestants must be between the ages of 12 - 17 as of 1/1/26. 

All contestants must be available to perform on the following Saturday evenings at Greer City park:
May 16
June 20
July 18
August 15
September 19

This contest is held during the Tunes in the Park music concert series and is held outside.

Anyone over the age of 16 will have to pass a background check. Details will be available onsite.
