An opening reception for The Art of Tom Gardner will be held on Tuesday, September 14th at the Center for the Arts from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.

Tom crafted a career's worth of painting, from giant wall-eaters to 12"x12" "Eye Pies" in the great nonrepresentational mid-century tradition of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. He showed work in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, San Diego, Sedona, Park City, Birmingham, and Asheville.

Keydria Martinez

Keydria's beginning with singing began all the way back in fifth grade where she began to enter within her schools talent shows building up her confidence in her craft.  She would later on go on to compete in Greer Idol Teens in the year of 2015 where she placed within the top 4 of the competition and later continue to perform in future talent shows within her school and in her schools choir where she would be able to perform a few solos as well.  Keydria has also had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem a few times for a few sport finals but Keydria's biggest accomplishment in her eyes has been the chance to write her own music and be able to perform and record those for many to hear and enjoy as her biggest desire is just to spread happiness with her music and talents.

Beau Sumner

Dennis R. Sumner, Jr. has always been referred to by his nickname, “Beau”. He has had the incredible opportunity to use his vocals to entertain for many years. Some of his experiences include the following: As a member of the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy Singers while serving in the United States Navy, he participated in performances at many events and cathedrals up and down the U.S. East Coast as well as a few events in western Europe. While a member of that group, they also had the honor of singing the National Anthem at a Boston Red Sox Game at Fenway Park in Boston as well as performing for a Memorial Event for President John F. Kennedy at which Senator Ted Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy & John F. Kennedy, Jr. were in attendance. Beau placed 1st in a vocal competition in Union County, SC, 2nd place in a vocal competition at the Holiday Inn Resort, Montego Bay, Jamaica, 3rd at a Clinton’s Got Talent competition in Laurens County, SC and 3rd place at a vocal competition sponsored by the FM country music station WSSL 100 held at the SC Upper State Fair.
