The mission of the Greer Cultural Arts Council is to serve the Greater Greer Community by providing affordable cultural arts opportunities. Through art, music, dance and drama, we hope to enrich the lives of the citizens of Greater Greer and surrounding community.

What's New at the GCAC

Arts Contest

 

The City of Greer and Greer Cultural Arts Council announce..

 

 

The first annual “Greer Through the Ages” Arts Exhibition.
  • All entries should be inspired by or reflect the theme of “Greer though the Ages”.
  • Registration dates are March 1-3, 2010.
  • Exhibition dates are March 12-14, March 15-30.
  • There are 2 separate divisions: Professional Artists, $20 per entry and Student Artists are $10 per entry.
  • Artist Reception is March 12, 2010 6:00-8:00pm
  • Cash Prizes are to be determined in both divisions.

Greer Children's Theatre Spring Production of Oliver!

"Please, sir, I want some more." 

The Greer Children's Theater is teaming up with Greer Relief to feed the hungry.

We are asking everyone who comes to the see show to please bring non-perishable food items.  The most needed items are; peanut butter, jelly, rice, noodles and spaghetti sauce.
