Oliver!
Book, Music, and Lyrics by Lionel Bart
Nothing works on the stage like a well-crafted tale, and OLIVER! is just such a show. Based on the Dickens novel, it will engage your audience with its pathos and drama, while delighting everyone with its outstanding musical numbers. Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself, As Long As He Needs Me, Who Will Buy and Reviewing the Situation are musical theatre classics. Dickens' characters are brought to life-perhaps larger than life-with all their facets glowing in this production.

The Emperor’s New Clothes
A Musical Fable
Music by Harry Simeone, Book & Lyrics: Jay Johnson
When a trio of entrepreneurial pickpockets stumble into a kingdom that bends to every fashion whim of its Emperor, they know just what to do. They pretend to be the finest weavers in all the land, and produce a magical cloth guaranteed to please the most discriminating of tastes, one visible only to those wise enough to be able to see it. Of course, the stylish Emperor simply must have it!   None of the Emperor’s closest confidants want to be seen as a fool, so they all claim to see the clothing. When the Emperor finally unveils his magical new ensemble to the kingdom, the villagers REALLY have something to see.  With a beautiful romance woven musically into the comic story, this classic tale is one the whole family will love.

Robin Hood: the Next Generation
By Shirley McNichols
Sir Robin Hood and Lady Marian have been married for 20 years and their beautiful daughter, Robin, is now about to come of age. The Queen insists Robin be wed to a man of royal lineage before assuming the throne. Being a woman of the next generation, Robin is naturally resentful about being married off so quickly without some romance. So she devises a contest in which the best archer and swordsman shall win her hand. Robin convinces her maid to stand in for her while she herself dresses as a man to compete to prove her point. Mean-while, Prince Jarred resents being forced into the competition since he, too, wants to marry for love and so convinces his manservant to switch places with him. Other contenders include comic princes Harold and Gerald, poor Prince Rodney the Regrettable, and wimpy Lord Horvath whose mother has evil plans for usurping the throne. An original comedy that proves the next generation can be as entertaining as the first.                                               Auditions:   Sep 3-4 Parents’ Meeting:  Sep 14 Shows:  Nov 12-14               Nov 19-21
