Music and Lyrics by Phil Collins
Based on the story Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the Disney film Tarzan
Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes and the smash-hit 1999 Disney animated film, TARZAN tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness. When a human expedition enters their territory, Tarzan - now a man - encounters strangers like himself for the first time.

Michael Cooke Remembered
Please join the Greer Cultural Arts Council as we mourn the loss of a great man, Michael Cooke.
He graced our theatrical stages, he volunteered at all of our events, he served on our Board of Directors, and most of all, he was our friend.
Mr. Cooke shared his time and talent with GCAC in many ways, but his heart was dedicated to the girl scouts. He was an Honorary Life-Time Girl Scout. For many years he conducted our Girl Scout back stage tours. In his honor we are creating a new Girl Scout Patch called The Michael Cooke “I did it” Back Stage Tour badge.
